front bumper cover

How the heck do I get the front bumper cover off my 89 Civic Si? That stupid piece of metal between the bumper cover and the hood/headlights is all up in my way! Help! TIA

Take the front bumper off. There should be 4 or 6 bolts holding it on (10 or 12 mm) I had to figure this out too cuz I had to put on my SiR filler plate.

Ok this is how i took mine off granted i didnt use the manual and probley did more work then nessary but here we go

remove the corner lense then remove the headlamps behind these are the bolts for the filler trim, once these are gone you can get to the bumper cover screws..use a large phillips or if you strip them out just drill then out, cause when you put on a ground kit like the WW rs kit you screw it on with self tappers.
